A new Funding Opportunity Announcement from the United States Air Force and United States Space Force is available! The FY24 AFRL Basic Research National Science Portal (NSP) FOA, managed by AFRL/AFOSR, is specifically designed to fund several teams of HBCU/MSI/TCU researchers in three topic areas: Quantum Computing, Unique Advantages to Biologically Based Materials for Space, and Ferrimagnetic Electronics. Applicants are also encouraged to view the DURIP for relevant instrumentation to further build capacity. Join us in bringing diversity to the table to drive scientific breakthroughs in support of the USAF and USSF and flooding the US with diverse STEM talent!

The FOA will focus on three critical research areas:

– Quantum Computing
– Unique Advantages to Biologically Based Materials for Space
– Ferrimagnetic Electronics

Researchers are encouraged to apply for funding to support innovative projects that align with these topics. This initiative aims to advance scientific discoveries and technological advancements that ensure the future technological supremacy of the United States Air Force (USAF) and United States Space Force (USSF).

Additionally, applicants are encouraged to explore the Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP) for relevant instrumentation funding to further build research capacity.
