Fights On! Issue 72: Winter 2024
This issue highlights work focused on understanding how external noise affects decision-making and cognitive function in the cockpit of the F-35 (Steady-State Operational Noise Impact or SONIC study). The division honors the long career of Dr. “Wink” Bennett as he retires. And the Information Mastery in Cognitive Warfare Line of Effort (LOE) discusses project updates with the auditory deepfakes research.

Fights On! Issue 70: Summer 2023
Each summer, students and schools from across Ohio and the nation collaborate with the Warfighter Interactions and Readiness Division through research and internship programs. These programs are a great opportunity for interns, students, and researchers to gain invaluable experience, further the scientific community, and provide valuable contributions to today’s (and tomorrow’s) warfighters. The articles in this issue of Fight’s On! highlight only a few of the exciting projects and developments achieved this summer.
Fights On! Issue 69: Spring 2023
The new RHW Core Technical Competencies (CTCs) are each made up of two Core Research Areas (CRAs). These CRAs are each comprised of multiple Lines of Effort (LOEs) so that researchers can more precisely focus on the bleeding edge concepts and technologies needed for modern and future warfighters. Each LOE and the innovative work being performed is discussed throughout this issue.

Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO) envisions applying Artificial Intelligence (AI), computational power, innovative interfaces, enhanced communications, and other technologies to increase the integration, speed, scale, and resilience of Air Force and DoD Command and Control systems. To better address the changing priorities of our Air and Space Forces, the RHW Core Technical Competencies (CTCs) and Core Research Areas (CRAs) are undergoing realignment.
