Autonomy Technology Research (ATR) Center Summer Program
The Autonomy Technology Research (ATR) Center is AFRL Sensors Directorate summer internship program, but can extend research projects into the school year. The Sensors Directorate focuses on affordable sensor and countermeasure technologies for reconnaissance, surveillance, precision engagement and electronic warfare systems. The ATR Center program is a collaborative research experience to answer Air Force sensing and autonomy technologies, sensor processing and exploitation, object detection, tracking and recognition, navigation, geolocation, malware detection and defense issues. A major point of emphasis is the use of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to solve these key technical challenges.
