STRATEGIC OHIO COUNCIL FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) is a program to enhance the research capabilities and professional relationships of the Air Force Research Laboratory technical directorates with researchers in related technical areas using high school and college students. SOCHE connects students, educators, government, businesses, employers, and other organizations to share information, access professional development opportunities, and close workforce gaps through increasing internships and research projects.

The Student Research Program provides year-long research internships at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for undergraduate and graduate science and engineering (STEM) students at either the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) or the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).

The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Summer Internship Program provides opportunities for engineering and science (STEM) students to gain valuable experience working at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) or the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).
