Scientists from the division menor interns from three different internship programs. The Warfighter Readiness Research Division reflects on its 50-year history, while looking ahead to a new division. Cognitive scientists examine the limitations of AMC’s fatigue risk management tool in their broad Aviation Operational Risk Management (AvORM) program. Researchers successfully completed the first, prescriptive field study investigating the effectiveness and efficiency of personally tailored cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) refresher training schedules determined by the patented Predictive Performance Optimizer (PPO) technology. The GRILL participates in the DoD’s Hack-a-Vent Innovation Challenge.

The Secure LVC (Live-Virtual-Constructive) Advanced Training Environment Advanced Technology Demonstration, known as SLATE ATD, is demontrated at Nellis AFB. The division conducts the Networked Integrated Tactical Environment Research Exercise, known as NITE-REX 18-2. Researchers from the Cognitive Science, Models and Agents Branch collaborate with Air Mobility Command(AMC) as members of their Fatigue Management Working Group.
